Automobile Technician

Falzone's Service, Inc., a trusted name in automobile service since 1945, is seeking skilled Automobile Technicians to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Wilkes Barre, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure maximum reliability and functionality. Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle issues by inspecting engine and mechanical/electrical components.
• Repair, maintain, and upgrade vehicle computer and electronic systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fluid replacement and part lubrication to ensure vehicle longevity.
• Schedule future maintenance sessions and educate customers on proper vehicle use.
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and address issues like leaks.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an auto mechanic.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
• Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents and hazardous materials.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship (preferred).
• Valid certification (e.g., ASE) is a definite plus.
• PA Inspection License (preferred).

Compensation

This is a full-time position requiring more than 40 hours per week.
