A specialized opportunity is available for a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacist at a dedicated compounding pharmacy facility in Kennett Square, PA. This role focuses on overseeing and verifying technician-compounded non-sterile preparations tailored to meet individual patient needs. The position offers a 13-week contract-to-hire assignment, ideal for pharmacists with expertise in personalized pharmaceutical formulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and ensure accuracy of non-sterile compounded preparations according to master formula worksheets.
- Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory policies to maintain patient safety and compliance.
- Oversee cleaning and garbing protocols in line with company standards.
- Perform calculations and manage detailed documentation.
- Operate production and computerized equipment according to established procedures.
- Maintain quality, purity, and potency standards of compounded medications.
- Conduct quality control tests and inspections verifying preparation accuracy.
- Stay updated on new compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies through continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.
- Recent pharmacy experience.
- Background and experience in non-sterile compounding required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
