Our client is seeking a Digital Product Owner who is a self-driven individual with excellent communications skills (verbal and written), the ability to work well under pressure, curiosity, and can work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Description

The Digital Product Owner will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the development and delivery of digital solutions that enhance our partner and customer experiences. The Product Owner has a vision for what features need to be delivered to maximize value for users. Will be responsible for defining detailed feature specifications and prioritizing the backlog. In partnership with architecture and development teams, designs solutions that deliver value to the customer. Expected to understand the products users, the marketplace, internal process, and make strategic decisions to position the company for success in our digital transformation initiatives.

Key Accountabilities:

• Represent the business by defining feature requirements, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring relevant teams clearly understand what is being delivered, and why.
• Collaborate with product owners and SMEs across the group to identify dependencies, mitigate roadblocks, and ensure the timely release of features.
• Manage and update the roadmap to set expectations for stakeholders on the delivery of new features.
• Make sure stakeholders are regularly updated on the status of development, roadblocks, milestones, and releases.
• Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions.
• Participate in team ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint review, sprint planning, and other meetings.
• Coordinate end-to-end user acceptance testing (UAT) as required.
• Work closely with the development team, providing clarifications, resolving questions, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of product increments.
• Continuously monitor product performance, analyze metrics, and generate insights to drive data-informed product enhancements and optimizations.
• Work with Architecture / Tech Lead to refine features and user stories (PBIs) and design solutions that deliver value to the customer.
• Review / Demos provides feedback early and often to the team around development of features.

Required Skills

• Previous experience working in an Agile environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements.
• Previous experience working in the Financing industry is a plus.
• Experience with Investment Funding, Agile operations, and Waterfall.
