Imagine this

A new initiative rolls out on the melt shop floor. You help stage the trial, verify installation, run tests, and log the results. Later, you lead a brief training with operators on proper system care, then assist the Account Manager in reviewing daily production logs and planning next steps. Throughout, you follow safety protocols and jump in to troubleshoot any issues that arise.

What you will take on

• On-site support for industrial systems and products in steelmaking operations
• Strict adherence to safety rules; active participation in safety meetings
• Assist Account Manager during customer meetings; contribute to refractory solutions
• Gather and maintain daily reports, logs, and documentation
• Execute field trials, then compile and present trial information
• Provide customer training on correct operating and maintenance procedures
• Coordinate deliveries; help with inventory and packaging tasks
• Perform installation, troubleshooting, testing, and repair; support projects as needed

What makes you a fit

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification/degree preferred
• 2+ years in industrial, HVAC, or maintenance work is preferred
• Solid mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams
• Comfortable in heat, dust, and noise typical of steel mills
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and work a flexible, variable schedule
