Saturdays and Sundays | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Position Summary
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Wound Care Unit. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the CNA provides direct, basic patient care to adult and geriatric patients. This role is focused on hands-on support, maintaining safety, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse

• Assist with wound care support, hygiene, mobility, and monitoring

• Report patient condition changes to the nurse promptly

• Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams

• Assist with reinforcing patient education and instructions

• Participate in safety and infection control procedures

• Support orientation of new CNAs as needed

• Demonstrate teamwork and professionalism on the unit

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Current CNA certification required

• Previous experience as a CNA preferred, especially in a hospital or wound care setting

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

• Successful completion of The Behavioral Wellness Center’s orientation and required training

• Ability to meet or exceed performance expectations during the probationary period
