Position Overview

We are actively seeking skilled and reliable HVAC & Plumbing Technicians to join our network as 1099 independent contractors in the Philadelphia, PA (19144) area .

This role is ideal for multi-skilled technicians who can diagnose, repair, and maintain both HVAC and plumbing systems. Contractors enjoy flexible scheduling, consistent job flow, and high earning potential .

Technicians must be able to service a 50-mile radius around Philadelphia , covering surrounding suburbs and rural areas. Local candidates are preferred, though those willing to travel within the service area are encouraged to apply.

Candidates holding EPA 608 Certification and/or State HVAC or Plumbing Licenses will receive priority consideration.

Key Responsibilities

HVAC Services

• Diagnose, repair, and service residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, condensers, and mini-splits.

• Perform HVAC installations, replacements, upgrades, and seasonal tune-ups.

• Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, refrigerant, and mechanical issues.

Plumbing Services

• Diagnose and repair plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, water heaters, fixtures, drains, and supply lines.

• Perform plumbing installations, replacements, and preventive maintenance.

• Troubleshoot water pressure, drainage, and pipe-related issues.

General Responsibilities

• Complete work orders accurately and on time.

• Follow all safety protocols, codes, and company procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at every job site.

• Communicate professionally with clients regarding findings, repairs, and recommendations.

• Provide your own tools, diagnostic equipment, and service vehicle.

• Maintain general liability insurance (assistance available if needed).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, Plumbing Technician, or dual-trade professional.

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and residential plumbing.

• EPA 608 Certification (required for HVAC work).

• State HVAC and/or Plumbing License (preferred).

• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, refrigerant, and plumbing issues.

• Excellent time management, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (must cover a 50-mile radius from Philadelphia, PA).

• Ownership of professional HVAC and plumbing tools.

• Licensed multi-trade technicians and contractors are prioritized.
