Compensation : $15 per hour
Schedule : Open Availability, required availability on weekends

Responsibilities :
As a Shift Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in the execution of the overall store operations. This role is tasked with guiding the team to meet goals, training and mentoring colleagues, overseeing merchandising and inventory control, and supervising daily operations, and ensuring exceptional guest service quality.
Oversee and provide leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees, in partnership with the Store Manager.
Identify qualified applicants, developing their leadership skills, empowering employees, and promoting productivity to maintain high retention
Ensure a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures, keeping the store presentable, and maintaining a well-stocked inventory
Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs to support store promotion and sales goals.
Handle cash and fuel transactions accurately, while promoting company programs.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1-2 years of proven leadership experience is preferred, preferably in a retail or convenience store environment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, and bend for the duration of your shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
Strong understanding of the financial aspects of the retail business.
Ability to prioritize and organize workload.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
Willingness to learn the store’s computer applications.
Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
