Job Summary

This detail orientated individual will be responsible for the tuition and fee assessment and configuration, billing processing, withdrawal setup, 1098-T processing and more within Banner, our student information system. Acting as the technical functional lead in the Office of Student Accounts will directly impact all students on campus regarding their billing and the accuracy of such. This position requires an individual with confidence; strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; exceptional persistence and proven ability to meet deadlines; a high level of commitment; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; and the ability to motivate others. Collaboration with other offices, including the IT department, will help to optimize our systems and daily work. This position will also oversee our accounting functions, including journal entries and reconciliations, providing dual controls. A portion of this position will focus on the collection of delinquent accounts for reporting and placement with external agencies. Lastly this position will represent the Director in their absence.

Minimum Qualifications

• Higher Education experience - 3-5 years
• Customer Service - 3-5 years
• Supervisory experience - 2 years or more
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite products
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with account reconciliations and analyzing large data sets.
• Demonstrated experience in adhering to and ensuring compliance with policies and internal controls.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Student Information System experience (Banner, etc.)
• Software or system implementation experience
• Accounting experience
• Familiarity with Financial Aid
• Familiarity with Student Accounts
• Experience with diverse populations and/or students

The starting salary range for this position is $76,576 - $81,571.

This position may be eligible for a flexible hybrid work arrangement, permitting a combination of on-site and remote work, subject to applicable organizational policies, operational requirements, and supervisory approval.
