Z Dog Daycare is a locally owned small-dog daycare in Center City Philadelphia focused on calm, structured play and personalized care. We keep small groups, maintain a peaceful environment, and treat every dog like family.

We are looking for a reliable, flexible dog lover with prior experience to join our team.

Position Details

• Pay: Starting at $15/hour
• Schedule: Flexible weekday availability
• Environment: Small dogs only (under ~40 lbs)
• Extras: Occasional opportunities for additional pet care hours

What You’ll Do

• Supervise calm, small-group dog play (indoor & outdoor)
• Support water and enrichment routines
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized space
• Greet clients in a friendly, professional way

Requirements (Please Read Carefully)

• Prior hands-on dog care experience is required
• (daycare, vet clinic, grooming, boarding, or regular pet sitting)
• Comfortable reading dog body language and managing group dynamics
• Calm, patient, and attentive presence
• Dependable and punctual — the dogs rely on you
• Able to be on your feet and actively engaged throughout the shift
• Must live within 20 minutes of 19103
• Important - Consistency matters here. Dogs thrive on routine, and so do we. We are looking for someone who can commit to a consistent schedule and show up reliably each week.
