The Equipment Engineer Technician will support the installation, relocation, repair and maintenance for primary printing/converting equipment across the business unit. The qualified candidate would have capabilities in both mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance. Responsibilities: Travel to company sites to conduct service as needed. Remove and relocate machinery as needed. Work with local plant associates to improve local skills and capabilities. Interact with vendors and internal associates to order materials, parts and arrange services. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Operate a forklift as needed.

Qualifications:

5 years of relevant experience with print industry equipment service. Experience with Narrow web flexo, sheetfed offset, web gravure and associated converting equipment required. Forklift Experience, preferred. Must be able to lift 50 lbs Must be able to be on your feet for prolonged periods of time Job requires standing, stooping, bending over, and kneeling

Other considerations:

Air travel would be required as needed for longer distances Employees would be expected to supply their own hand tools, specialty tools will be supplied MCC would cover shipping cost to transport tools from job to job Travel requirements- expectations would be that 10 out of 14 days will be travel, home every other Thursday-Sunday
