Telemetry RN Job Details

• Job Title: Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Du Bois, PA 15801 (Pennsylvania nursing jobs)
• Facility Type: Community Hospital – IMCU Telemetry Unit
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract Nursing
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 1/5/2026)
• Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Unit Size: 36 beds
• Patient Ratio: 1 RN: 6 patients (night shift)
• Scrub Colors: Navy blue or white
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1910 - $1960

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license (required for all travel nurse jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR/Charting system
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline registration upon contract signing
• Lab work to be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
• No local candidates (must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Du Bois, PA)

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with respiratory and cardiac conditions
• Monitor, interpret, and document telemetry data
• Administer medications and manage cardiac drips (no titration required)
• Perform IV starts, central line and PICC line management, and blood product administration
• Implement isolation precautions and manage feeding tubes, surgical drains, and portable oxygen
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy
• Float to other nursing units as needed
• Document patient care using Cerner EMR
• Participate in rapid response and support patient safety initiatives
