⚙️ What You Will Do

As the backbone of the facility, you will ensure that automation and sortation systems remain at peak performance. Your daily impact includes:

• Troubleshooting: High-speed conveyors, sorters, and material handling equipment.

• Electrical Work: Working with 480V 3-phase, VFDs, and sensors.

• Preventative Maintenance: Executing routine PMs to eliminate breakdowns.

• Facilities Repair: Maintaining dock levelers, overhead doors, and safety systems.

• Collaboration: Utilizing CMMS software to track work orders and inventory.

What You Need to Bring

• Experience: 2+ years in Industrial Maintenance (Distribution experience is a major plus).

• Technical Skill: strong mechanical knowledge of gearboxes, motors, and pneumatics.

• Electrical Knowledge: Ability to troubleshoot via schematics and multi-meters.

• Reliability: A desire for a long-term, stable role on a winning team.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the peak performance of high-volume warehouse automation and facility systems. Your daily impact includes:

• System Maintenance: Perform preventative (PM) and corrective maintenance on high-speed conveyor systems, including belt tracking, lacing, motor replacements, and gearboxes.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues (up to 480V 3-phase) to minimize facility downtime.

• Automation Support: Calibrate and repair automated sortation equipment, photo-eyes, proximity sensors, and barcode scanning systems.

• Material Handling: Maintain and repair dock levelers, overhead doors, and provide secondary support for electric pallet jacks and reach trucks.

• Diagnostics: Utilize PLC logic (Allen Bradley/Siemens) and VFDs to troubleshoot system errors and optimize flow.

• Safety & Documentation: Strictly adhere to LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and NFPA 70E standards. Use a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to log work orders and track spare parts inventory.

• Fabrication: Perform basic welding and metal fabrication as needed for equipment modifications or repairs.
