HR Business Partner

We’re representing a client seeking an HR Business Partner to support two local manufacturing facilities. This is a hands-on, strategic position where you’ll work alongside a seasoned HR team in an environment that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and employee well-being.

Ideal candidates bring solid HR experience within manufacturing or industrial settings, with strengths in employee relations, recruiting, and compliance. You should be comfortable balancing day-to-day HR responsibilities with big-picture thinking, leading projects, and serving as a trusted resource to managers.

• Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
• HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of employment laws, safety practices, and compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting leadership with coaching, organizational development, and workforce planning.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, navigate change, and maintain confidentiality.
• Approximately 25% local travel to plant locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily HR operations including benefits, HRIS updates, recognition programs, and process efficiency improvements.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment: interviewing, updating job descriptions, coordinating screenings, and managing onboarding.
• Serve as an employee relations resource by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, guiding corrective actions, and supporting performance management and training.
• Lead strategic HR initiatives such as HR project management, payroll/bonus reviews, unemployment claims, HR analytics, reporting, and employee engagement efforts.
• Partner with leaders to support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
