Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team, where you will troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment and systems, perform preventive maintenance, and act as a trusted adviser to our commercial customers. Your role will involve recommending repairs and upgrades, discussing pricing and value, and building strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and understanding of their needs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot commercial HVAC equipment and systems, replacing defective parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to verify proper operation and identify potential problems.
• Recommend repairs and upgrades to customers, discussing pricing and advantages.
• Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and expectations.

Essential Skills

• Troubleshooting electrical systems.
• EPA Universal certification.
• Experience with HVAC commercial equipment, boilers, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Proficiency in HVAC repair, installation, and maintenance.
• Strong customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with rooftop units, cooling towers, chillers, heat pumps, air conditioners, hydronic systems, geothermal units, gas furnaces, and boilers.
• Knowledge of oil furnaces and oil boilers.
• Experience in field service and construction.

Work Environment

You will work on existing commercial construction sites, primarily within 1.5 hours of Harleysville, PA. Be prepared to work outside, considering weather conditions, in teams of 1-6 people. Dress code includes work boots, jeans, and a company shirt. Projects include warehouses, schools, retirement homes, car dealerships, and strip malls. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3 pm, totaling 40 hours per week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Harleysville, PA.

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
