Position Overview
The Marketing Manager for Razor Technology will serve as the architect and driving force behind the company’s marketing transformation. This executive-level role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that activates Razor’s unified message, accelerates demand generation, and delivers measurable business impact across targeted verticals and partner ecosystems.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO/COO) and the Director of Market Development, and collaborating closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the Marketing Manager will build and lead a high-performing marketing function. This includes designing and implementing scalable marketing infrastructure, leveraging advanced automation and buyer intent data, and orchestrating multi-channel campaigns that move prospects efficiently through the sales funnel.
The Marketing Manager will also play a pivotal role in partner and OEM marketing, collaborating with technology manufacturers and distribution partners to maximize Co-Op and MDF (Market Development Fund) programs, joint campaigns, and go-to-market initiatives that amplify Razor’s brand visibility and sales growth.
Success in this role requires a balance of strategic vision, hands-on execution, and a deep understanding of channel marketing dynamics within the technology industry. The ideal candidate will bring experience working across OEMs, distributors, and solution providers to create high-impact marketing programs that deliver quantifiable ROI.
Key Responsibilities
Message Activation & Vertical Segmentation
- Lead the activation of Razor’s unified corporate message across priority verticals, tailoring content for industry-specific use cases (e.g., compliance in healthcare, resilience in finance, modernization in manufacturing).
- Oversee database cleansing, segmentation, and readiness for targeted campaign execution.
- Map and maintain contact data by vertical, buying center, and partner alignment for focused outreach.
Marketing Infrastructure & Campaign Management
- Implement and optimize marketing automation platforms (e.g., Dynamics, HubSpot) for lead scoring, nurture sequences, and integrated reporting.
- Develop tailored landing pages, emails, and case studies for each vertical, showcasing Razor’s differentiated solutions.
- Build and expand a content library (blogs, one-pagers, videos, webinars) to drive engagement and thought leadership.
- Design scalable, repeatable campaign templates to support both direct and partner-led marketing initiatives.
Demand Generation & Lead Nurturing
- Design and execute multi-stage nurture campaigns triggered by engagement or buyer intent signals.
- Guide prospects through a defined CTA journey: thought leadership → case study → discovery call/webinar.
- Advance leads through the funnel with measurable conversion metrics and timely hand-off to Business Development.
Partner, OEM & Distribution Marketing
- Collaborate with OEM and distribution partners (e.g., Microsoft, Ingram Micro, Pax8, TD Synnex, Arrow) to plan and execute joint marketing programs.
- Manage Co-Op and MDF funding programs , ensuring all eligible Razor campaigns are submitted, tracked, and reimbursed.
- Coordinate partner-driven events, webinars, and campaigns that align with Razor’s GTM initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with partner marketing teams to stay aligned on launches, incentives, and messaging priorities.
- Develop partner scorecards and ROI tracking for Co-Op/MDF-funded campaigns.
Buyer Intent Data Utilization
- Integrate third-party buyer intent data with CRM systems to enhance targeting and personalization.
- Align intent keywords with Razor’s solutions (e.g., cloud migration, cybersecurity, compliance).
- Launch nurture campaigns and trigger alerts for Sales when key accounts show buying interest.
Measurement, Optimization & Collaboration
- Track and report on campaign performance, engagement, and conversion impact by vertical, partner, and business unit.
- Continuously refine targeting, messaging, and tactics based on performance data and market feedback.
- Collaborate with the CTO and Director of Market Development to ensure technical and market alignment.
- Establish SLAs for timely follow-up on marketing-sourced opportunities.
Phased Rollout & Expansion
- Execute a phased rollout: cleanse database, launch vertical nurture campaigns, integrate buyer intent data, expand content library, deepen automation, and implement advanced performance tracking.
- Scale into account-based marketing (ABM) and extend campaigns through partner and reseller channels.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, or channel marketing for technology solutions or managed services.
- Proven success in building and scaling integrated marketing programs that drive measurable pipeline growth.
- Experience managing OEM and distribution partner relationships, including Co-Op and MDF funding, joint campaign execution, and partner enablement.
- MSP (Managed Services Provider) marketing experience is a significant plus, with demonstrated understanding of recurring revenue models, partner ecosystems, and technology service positioning.
- Expertise in marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Dynamics 365, Salesforce).
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; able to measure ROI and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; capable of crafting compelling value propositions and storytelling across audiences.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on ability to execute, pivot, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in vertical segmentation, partner ecosystem marketing, and data-driven decision-making preferred.
