CDL A Driver | $27 Per Hour | Gettysburg, PA
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Gettysburg, PA. This is a temp to hire position. CDL A Driver Details- Schedule: Monday - Saturday operation, driver will work 5 days; 12 AM - 300 AM start time.
- Pay: $27.00 Per Hour, Plus OT
- Route Type: Local
- Freight / Load Type: Food
- Equipment: Automatic trucks
- Handling: Light touch - unloading with pallet jack or wheeling carts off the trailer
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Safely operate class A vehicles on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including offloading with pallet jack.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
