Production Operator
Location: Burgettstown, Pennsylvania
Type: Contract
Compensation: $18 - $19 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The selected candidate will be a part of our client's production team as a Production Operator and support the production of inorganic color pigments that are used worldwide for coloring in numerous industries such as construction, paints & coatings and plastics.
- Charge, blend and package pigments as instructed by the blend, repackaging, or packaging sheets.
- Troubleshoot equipment and make repairs commensurate with skill level.
- Recognize defects in finished product such as lumps or streaking in finished product.
- Prepare equipment for new blend by thoroughly cleaning to prevent cross contamination.
- Complete all required company training.
- 1-2 years of work experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- High degree of sensory attention and visual inspection of the product throughout the manufacturing process.
- A valid driver’s license is required together with the successful completion of pre-employment drug and background checks.
