You’ll conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance and come up with ideas for preventative measures we can use to increase the life of our equipment and minimize safety risks. $60,000 - $80,000 yearly commensurate with experience

• Make records of when any equipment was services and repairs were made
• Check the building for any damage to doors, windows, walls, and make any repairs as needed
• Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
• Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs

The day-to-day duties of the job include, but are not limited to:

• Plumbing repairs
• Electrical repairs
• Painting / Patching
• Light appliance repair/installation
• HVAC maintenance work
• Light Debris removal
• Changing lock-sets
• Installing smoke, carbon monoxide detectors, and fire extinguishers
• Light landscaping work
• Replacing hinges and shaving doors down

• Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
• Must have graduated from high school/received GED or equivalent
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
• Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests

Necessary Skills & Abilities

• Clean driving record
• Clean criminal background
• 3 years of experience working as a maintenance technician, tradesman, or contractor
• Ideally comfortable utilizing specialized equipment (dump trailer, tractor, etc)
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
• Creative problem solving
• On-call availability
• Good physical condition and strength
• Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
