Martin’s Flooring is seeking a highly organized and people-focused Scheduling Coordinator to serve as the central communication hub between customers, installation teams, and internal staff. This role is ideal for someone who excels at coordination, proactive communication, and managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.

The Scheduling Coordinator plays a key role in keeping projects on track by scheduling jobs, confirming details, communicating expectations clearly, and addressing issues before they become problems. Flooring or construction experience is helpful but not required—strong communication skills and attention to detail are most important.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule installation, cleaning, and maintenance jobs.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding scheduling, updates, and questions.

• Coordinate job details clearly for installation teams so they arrive prepared and informed.

• Confirm timelines, materials readiness, and special requirements prior to scheduled work.

• Monitor daily schedules and adjust as needed to account for changes or delays as advised by foreman/project manager.

• Proactively identify and communicate potential scheduling conflicts or challenges.

• Support the sales and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Accurately maintain work orders, notes, and job information in company systems.

• Assist with change orders and ensure scheduling adjustments are communicated promptly.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• Comfortable managing multiple schedules and priorities at once.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general office software.

• Customer-focused mindset with a calm, professional demeanor.

• Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience in scheduling, customer service, administration, or coordination is a plus.

• Construction or flooring experience is helpful but not required.
