Automotive Technician
Job Summary: Shively Motors is seeking a highly motivated Automotive Technician to join our team in Chambersburg, PA! This full-time individual contributor role will provide a hands-on approach to automotive service, repair, and customer satisfaction. Our ideal candidate will bring their experience, skill, and commitment to excellence to provide exceptional service to our customers. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary and potential bonuses depending on job performance Company benefits package including medical and dental insurance, 401K plan, paid vacation and holidays Continuing education and reimbursement for tools and certifications Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance and service repairs for all types of vehicles Examine vehicles for hazards, defects, and wear and tear to identify necessary repairs Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical components on automotive vehicles Inspect, test, adjust, repair, and service vehicles Perform physical vehicle inspections and repairs on a variety of makes and models Communicate all findings and required repairs with Service Managers Adhere to safety policies and procedures Requirements: Valid Driver's License ASE or automotive technical certification(s) preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service, repair, and diagnostics Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to proficiently use hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive service and repair equipment EEOC Statement: Shively Motors is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, national origin, disability, age, or any other status protected by law.
