HVAC Technician

*Overview of Role and Company*

Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and maintaining HVAC units and systems within Cumberland and Dauphin county. Company primarily serves residential customers within the area, and some small scale commercial properties. Meet up at the shop around 7am and enjoy the consistent hours with a set schedule. Smaller mom & pop type of shop, with no on-call schedule, offering a company vehicle and benefits covered by the employer.

*There is no on-call schedule. This is Monday - Friday from 7am - 3:30pm.*

*What You'll Do*

• Perform service, repair, and installation of heat pumps, oil/gas furnaces, mini‑splits, and boilers.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and diagnose issues efficiently.
• Disassemble, replace, and adjust defective components.
• Recharge air‑conditioning systems with appropriate refrigerants.
• Residential and commercial changeouts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Harrisburg, PA.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.

Raises: Yearly cost-of-living raise of 3%. Additional raises based on performance reviews and performance of company. Retirement planning: Simple IRA with company match up to 3% Benefits: · Health insurance: Capital Blue Cross -100% Company Paid for employee. $5,000 deductible · Dental care: United Concordia Dental, $32.21 per month for employee, covers two cleanings and up to $1,000 of qualifying treatment per year. · Vision care: NVA, $5.80 per month for employee, covers one examination per year with $10 copay · Disability: Short-term and long-term disability available as additional elective benefit. Time off: · Vacation: 10 paid vacation days after first 90 days of employment and 1 additional vacation day added after each year of employment. · Sick time: 3 unpaid sick days per year · Holidays: 6 major holidays plus one floating holiday are paid time off after 90 days. Other: · Transportation: Company vehicle with company paid fuel and maintenance. · Tool program · Professional development: $500 yearly for professional development materials or professional memberships (with department approval).

This is a fully onsite position in Harrisburg,PA.

This position is anticipated to close on Mar 1, 2026.
