Materials Flow and Inventory Control Coordinator
Step into the role of Materials Flow and Inventory Control Coordinator
Imagine starting your day with a fresh dashboard of receipts, stock levels, and outbound orders. You reconcile what arrived overnight, clear up any receiving issues, and make sure materials are exactly where teams need them. Midday, you partner with engineering on CN-related allocations and inventory adjustments. By afternoon, you’re deep into cycle counts, ISL audits, and bin consumption tracking—tuning the material flow that keeps production moving. Throughout, you’re talking with internal and external customers, solving problems, and keeping the data rock solid.
What you’ll make happen
- Keep inventory precise through timely, accurate system updates and data entry.
- Dig into discrepancies and system glitches; resolve root causes and prevent repeat issues.
- Spot and correct receiving errors so materials move quickly and cleanly.
- Watch stock levels and take action to prevent shortages or overages.
- Support engineering changes via allocation and inventory adjustments, including CN maintenance.
- Collaborate every day with internal stakeholders and external partners to provide exceptional service.
- Advance corporate material initiatives such as cycle counts, ISL (Inventory Stock Location) management, and bin consumption tracking.
Note: This summary isn’t exhaustive; you may be asked to take on additional tasks as needed.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to partner cross-functionally.
- Good business judgment and situational awareness.
- 6 months to 2 years of general office practice experience.
- Ability to pass an internal Powered Industrial Equipment license test and operate equipment in the Operations Facility (e.g., stand-up and sit-down trucks).
Work environment
- Manufacturing/production setting with potential exposure to loud noise, dust, moving machinery, and temperature changes.
- Physical expectations include standing for long periods; repetitive motions; lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds; pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds and up to 30 pounds sustained; and occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, and tool/equipment use.
