Assignment Details

- Schedule: Four (4) 9-hour shifts per week
- Shift hours: 6:45 AM – 4:15 PM
- Workdays: Monday through Thursday

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment. The RN will function in both circulating and scrub roles, providing high-quality perioperative nursing care. Strong orthopedic surgery experience is required .
Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in circulating and scrub roles
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure proper equipment and supplies
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to surgical safety protocols
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during orthopedic procedures
- Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and respond to changes in condition
- Accurately document intraoperative care and procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Active state Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be current)
- Minimum of 5 years of Operating Room experience
- Strong orthopedic OR experience required
- Proficiency in both circulating and scrub roles
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory)
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Additional Details
- No bilingual requirement
- No holiday coverage required
- EMR system: Not specified
- Timecards must be completed accurately and according to facility guidelines
