We are excited to share that as a result of our scaling and continued growth in our organization, Main Street Academies/SwimJIm located in Lehigh Valley, PA, a national fitness, swim programs and education business is seeking a hands Aquatics Director to create and manage all swim and aquatics program for our Central Valey, PA operation.

The position will partner closely with our Director, Site Operations and add exciting programs for our children of all ages and parents.

Job Description:

Swim-in Zone Swim School was founded with one goal in mind: giving our students and staff the best, most rewarding learning experience. Duties and Responsibilities:

● Maintains Swim-in Zone’s Mission Statement and Business Values

● Maintains knowledge of Swim-in Zone Policies / Consistently Enforce Policies with Clients

● Support in the hiring and training staff including but not limited to

○ Instructors

○ Deck Supervisors

● Manages staff, staff schedule, Skills development and staff Skills duties in ICP.

● Teach/substitute for lessons or other duties at locations.

● Support team members in finding coverage if needed.

● Make sure all staff are upholding our culture and their own duties (Monthly Evaluations)

● Report any issues to the Site Director.

● Keep stock of inventory, letting Director know when it is low

● Maintain any Swim-in Zone equipment and let Site Director know when something is needed or needs to be replaced.

● Be present at times of lessons

● Have a good working relationship with building managers & key people

● Attend any open houses or other promotional opportunities

● Other Admin management responsibilities/projects as assigned and needed

● Maintain Lifeguard certification

● Support in leading staff inservice/ trainings

Experience & Qualifications:

● Minimum of 3-5 years of previous hands-on experience instructing, swim lessons, childcare, etc.

○ Supervision of other staff members is required

● Certifications and instructions expertise essential

○ Lifeguard, First aid and CPR certification

○ Background check

○ CPO

○ CPA

● Punctual / Communicative When Running Late & Follows Proper Procedure for Requesting Time-Off

● Great interpersonal skills
