What You'll Do as an HR Generalist:
- Coordinate quarterly employee reviews, including prep, documentation, and administrative follow-up.
- Assist with payroll processing, including time review, raise implementation, contractor payments, and SIMPLE IRA remittance.
- Manage time tracking processes—handle PTO requests, timecard corrections, and attendance communication.
- Oversee hiring logistics from applicant communication to onboarding and new hire training.
- Support employee benefit programs, including health coverage, QSEHRA, and SIMPLE IRA administration.
- Organize and lead monthly Safety Committee meetings and rotation schedules.
- Maintain employee certifications such as forklift, first aid, and respirator exams.
- Coordinate internal events like the company picnic, banquet, and other team gatherings.
- Manage breakroom inventory and coordinate travel for trade shows and company events.
- Pitch in with general support tasks such as tracking receipts, delivering supplies, or assisting with trade show logistics.
Our Ideal HR Generalist:
- Experienced: At least 2 years in an administrative or HR-related role is required. Experience with benefits administration is also preferred. Payroll experience is a plus.
- Tech-savvy: Familiar with payroll and accounting software, Google Workspace, and CRM Software is helpful.
- Adaptable: Able to shift smoothly between recurring processes and ad hoc tasks.
- Self-starter: Proactively takes ownership and follows through without needing close supervision.
- Strong Communicator: Shares information clearly & professionally across departments.
- Humble & Willing to Learn: Open to growth, feedback, and collaborative teamwork.
- Problem-solver: Identifies gaps and works toward solutions with efficiency and care.

- $55,000–$65,000 salary, based on experience.
