Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Contract to Hire
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour
Schedules available:

• 6am - 2:30pm (Every other weekend, Scheduled holidays)
• 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Every other weekend, scheduled holidays)
• 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Every other weekend, scheduled holidays)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a long-term care setting located in Pittsburgh, PA. Role Description:

The CNA will perform non-professional nursing duties involving the direct and daily care of ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients/residents. Duties include assisting residents with activities of daily living, supporting rehabilitation and recreational activities, and maintaining clean and comfortable living quarters. Work is carried out under the supervision of a licensed nurse or physician, with routine duties performed independently in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care and assistance to patients/residents, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support.
• Encourage and assist patients/residents in participating in prescribed rehabilitation and recreational activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for all residents.
• Document and report any changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
• Participate in on-the-job training and continuing education to maintain nursing care competency.
• Support nursing staff in implementing patient care plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
• At least six (6) months as an Aide Trainee or
• One (1) year of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients/residents.
• Certification: Must be registered and certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Health as meeting competency requirements for nurse aide work.
• Skills: Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
