Industrial Painter - 1st Shift
Industrial Painter
Pay: $20-25/hr
Shift: Mon-Fri (7am to 3:30pm)
Description:
- Cannonball Recruiting is seeking an Industrial Painter to a manufacturing facility for the steel tanks and steel enclosures department.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience with Industrial Painting in a manufacturing environment
- Read, comprehend, and follow written, standardized work instructions and trained procedures such as blueprints and SOP
- Work cooperatively with others in a team environment
- Ability to reach a tape measure
- Ability to move or transfer products with a hoist or overhead crane
- Ability to work independently without daily supervision
- Work overtime as/if needed
Job Duties:
- Commitment to a safe work environment, quality product, and teamwork
- Demonstrates working knowledge of tools, equipment/materials, safe work habits and the proper care for tools and equipment
- Able to mix and identify paints
- Prepare surfaces by filling cracks, holes, joins with caulk or other fillers
- Be quality oriented and familiar with quality processes for painting including mil thickness and measurement methods
