Our Client in Downingtown, PA, is looking for a Temp to Hire Batch Operator.

• Mix ingredients according to the specified procedures and formulas
• Weigh raw materials according to the formula
• Retrieve supplies from the warehouse/storage area.
• Open valves to start pumps to transfer specified amounts and types of liquids from storage tanks into mixing tanks.
• Activate mixing tank agitators and set timers to mix ingredients for a specific period.
• Observe gauge readings on mixing tanks and adjust temperature.
• Obtain samples of solutions throughout the process.
• Open valves and pump finished formulas into storage tanks/drums or one-handled buckets.
• Report machine and equipment malfunctions to mechanical personnel.
• Coordinate “changeovers” in production, clean equipment, and perform other custodial responsibilities.

• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear)

• Teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format, and completed with the required information
• Ability to read general information and follow directions
• Physical stamina and strength; Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work in hot and cold temperatures
• Must be able to stand, walk, and push for the entire shift
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
• Perform other duties assigned
