Job Description

Temporary Worker will evaluate how herpes simplex virus glycoprotein length affects protein structure, function, and immunogenicity using computer simulations and analysis of the data generated.

• Using computer simulations and analysis of the data generated, develop a model of the gC2/C3b complex interactions and molecular dynamics using Chimera, Alphafold and OpenMM computer programs. Validate model using pre-existing data.
• Evaluate gE/gI complexes from HSV1 and HSV2 as well as chimeras of these complexes by biosensor using monoclonal antibodies.
• Assemble data for presentations.
• Develop conceptual ideas for the comparison of HSV glycoproteins.
• Provide and maintain expertise in innovative solutions focused on the responsible stewardship of Penn Dental Medicine and its community experience.
