Material Control Coordinator
- Type of Employment: Full-time
- Location: Jefferson Hills, PA
- Division/Department : Process Equipment Division/Material Control
- Reports to: Material Control Supervisor
- Handle material transactions, production requests, and internal cost/lead‑time quotes using Microsoft D365
- Process parts requisitions accurately and efficiently to support production schedules
- Maintain and update open production requirement and shortage reports
- Create complete, accurate job packets for Manufacturing and Assembly teams
- Process nonconforming material and work closely with Production and Procurement to resolve issues
- Follow all Material Control procedures, work instructions, and documentation requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Material Control function
- Provide backup support to the Material Control Supervisor as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted; assistance required for items over 60 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and twist as needed
- Experience in manufacturing, inventory control, or material control
- 3+ years of Material Control experience
- Experience with Microsoft D365 or other ERP systems
- Post‑secondary coursework in computer or business systems
- Ability to read engineering drawings and Bills of Material (BOMs).
