Software Engineer
Kforce's client in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Software Engineer. This role is an integral part of an innovative team tasked with supporting a digital transformation and system modernization project. The Software Engineer will support the design, development, testing and implementation of process control systems. Duties Include:
- The Software Engineer will support and contribute to the digital transformation of the business
- Understand requirements and identify improvement opportunities in conjunction with the operations teams
- As a Software Engineer, you will work with advanced analytics, realize concepts from research, and develop Machine Learning models for forecasting and set parameters
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Software Engineer/Developer with minimum of 3+ years of experience developing in Java, C, C#, Visual Studio, R, and/or Python; Comfortable with both Linux and Windows environments
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to problem solve and multitask
- Experience with Tableau a plus
- Experience with SQL and Oracle a plus
