Job Title: Lot Attendant / Porter (Pre-Owned Inventory & Grounds)

Location: Thornton Automotive Dover – Dover, PA

Job Type: Full-Time

Thornton Automotive Dover is looking for a reliable, upbeat Lot Attendant / Porter to help keep our pre-owned inventory looking sharp and our dealership grounds clean, safe, and customer-ready. If you like staying active, working around vehicles, and being part of a team that takes pride in appearance and organization—this is a great fit.

What You’ll Do: (Key Responsibilities)

• Keep the pre-owned vehicle lots neat, organized, and customer-ready.
• Move and park vehicles as directed by management, following dealership standards.
• Maintain the appearance and condition of showroom vehicles.
• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to maintain strong inventory presentation.
• Keep driveways and sidewalks clean , including removing snow and debris when needed.
• Pick up/drop off vehicles from auctions or other dealerships as requested.
• Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude and contribute to a professional dealership atmosphere.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.

• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Able to make timely, accurate decisions and follow instructions.
• Takes pride in details—cleanliness, organization, and presentation matter here.
• Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather and being on your feet throughout the day.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

License Requirement:

• Valid Driver’s License (Required).
• Your driving record must be insurable.
