- Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures such as toilets, sinks, and faucets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and building specifications to determine plumbing layout, materials, and installation methods.
- Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipe to required angles and lengths using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Perform rough-ins above and below ground for new construction and renovation projects, as well as trim-outs and finish plumbing.
- Work with a variety of piping materials, including CPVC, PVC, PEX, copper, cast iron, steel, and no-hub systems.

- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
- Communicate clearly with homeowners, tenants, and team members to explain issues, recommended solutions, and work performed.
- Collaborate with other plumbers and trades as needed, working independently or as part of a small crew depending on the project.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in customers’ homes and on job sites, respecting property and privacy.
- Travel between multiple job sites during the day, ensuring punctuality and professional conduct at all times.
- 3–5 years of residential plumbing experience, including both new construction and service work.
- Proficiency in plumbing system installation and repair, including rough-ins, finish plumbing, and fixture installation.
- Strong pipefitting skills and material handling experience with copper, PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and steel piping.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, simple terms.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including working in confined spaces and elevated areas.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Plumbing Apprentice or Journeyman License, as required by applicable state or local regulations.
- Experience working on residential construction projects, including new builds, remodels, and renovations.
- Background in residential plumbing services, including both scheduled and emergency service calls.

You will join a fast-paced, growth-oriented mechanical and plumbing team where your skills are valued and your development is a priority. The organization offers strong benefits and clear opportunities for advancement, allowing you to build a long-term career in the trade. You will work with experienced professionals in an environment that emphasizes safety, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction, while providing the support and resources you need to sharpen your technical skills and expand your responsibilities over time.
Work Environment
This role is primarily field-based, working in private homes, apartments, and multi-unit housing, with occasional work in light commercial spaces such as small offices or retail units. You will travel between multiple job sites throughout the day, so flexibility and reliable transportation are essential. Work takes place both indoors and outdoors and often in tight, awkward, or confined spaces such as crawlspaces, attics, and basements. Tasks frequently involve lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions. The position is physically demanding and requires stamina, strength, and manual dexterity. Work may be performed independently when handling individual service calls or as part of a small crew on larger projects, with regular interaction with homeowners and occupants in a professional, respectful manner. Typical tools and equipment include standard plumbing hand tools, power tools for cutting and threading pipe, soldering and brazing equipment, and joining systems such as ProPress and SharkBite fittings.
