Assembler

We are seeking dedicated assemblers to join our team in two locations: Hanover and York. In Hanover, candidates will work on assembling small parts for elevator doors and walls, requiring basic assembly experience or mechanical inclination. In York, candidates will primarily focus on kitting and packing. Both positions involve packing parts for shipment and offer different shift options.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and pack a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and fabricated elevator components.
• Perform all operations necessary to assemble, align, and pack elevator subassemblies and assemblies within allocated times while maintaining quality specifications.
• Work from manufacturing information, SAP, COE sheets, engineering drawings, and written and oral instructions.
• Package and identify completed assemblies for shipment.
• Maintain all required records and documents.

Essential Skills

• Experience with assembly and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Basic blueprint reading.
• Mechanical inclination.
• Experience in picking and packing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Kitting experience.
• Understanding of electrical components.

Work Environment

Our facilities offer a fairly clean environment with moderate noise levels. Safety is a priority, and candidates are required to wear steel-toed boots, long pants, and safety glasses while in the shop. Shift options include 1st shift from 6am-2pm and 2nd shift from 2:30pm-10:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
