As a **Security Officer - School Grounds Patrol** in **Philadelphia, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence throughout the campus. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting students and staff, and delivering excellent customer service and communication. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the educational location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
+ Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances within the educational location to the appropriate authorities.
+ Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of campus policies as required.
+ Support security-related operations during campus events and/or emergencies in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
