POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will assemble and support the various medical device manufacturing processes. A detail-oriented Medical Device Assembly Technician to assemble, test, inspect, and refurbish electro-mechanical medical devices in a regulated manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and test electro-mechanical devices and components.
- Follow work instructions, schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
- Perform quality inspections and identify product defects.
- Use testing and inspection equipment to verify product compliance.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
- Support training and cross-training of team members.
- Participate in production meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing, assembly, production, or technical support experience.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and documentation.
- Basic proficiency with Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts (4 days/week) and overtime as needed.
- Experience with ERP systems or electronic work instructions.
- Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or medical device environments.
- Familiarity with hand tools, testing equipment, and component assembly.
- Coachable, adaptable, and committed to quality and safety.
