About Huntingdon Children’s School (HCS):
Huntingdon Children’s School is a nature-based preschool set on four beautiful acres in Abington, PA. Our programs emphasize hands-on, child-centered learning through play, exploration, and connection with the natural world. We value creativity, compassion, and community — providing children with a warm, nurturing environment to grow, learn, and thrive.

HCS is seeking multiple caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Infant Teachers to join our team at our dedicated Infant Center, located in its own building on our campus. Our Infant Teachers provide loving, responsive care and help foster each child’s development in a safe, engaging, and nature-inspired environment.

Minimum Requirements:

✅ At least 2 years of professional experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early education setting
✅ Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred, but not required with appropriate experience
✅ Strong dependability, communication, and teamwork skills
✅ Demonstrated nurturing, patient, and attentive approach to infant care

Ideal Candidate:

• Builds trusting, positive relationships with infants and families
• Creates a calm, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
• Supports hands-on, sensory-rich learning experiences
• Works collaboratively with the Infant Center Site Leader and other teachers
• Maintains high standards of care, health, and safety at all times, following all DHS regulations and licensing protocols

Position Details:

• Full-Time | 40 hours per week
• Location: 1501 Huntingdon Rd, Abington, PA 19001
• Collaborate with teaching team to implement daily routines and curriculum
• Provide consistent, responsive care and individualized attention to each child
• Contribute to a warm, engaging classroom community that reflects HCS’s nature-based philosophy
