Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a significant volume of invoices daily to ensure complete, accurate, and timely payments. They will also be responsible for booking payments from customers.

Responsibilities

• Vendor invoice coding and entry
• Manage vendor credits
• Weekly Vendor Check and ACH payments
• Vendor statement reconciliation
• New Vendor setup in system
• Daily booking of accounts receivable payments
• Researching any short payments and/or over payments by the customer then discussing with the customer or salesperson
• Sending customer statements
• Answer phones

Qualifications

• Minimum (2) years’ experience in an accounts payable and/or receivable role
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Comprehensive understanding and application of accounting principles, concepts, and practices
• Proficient in operating computerized accounting software and Microsoft Office software
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication with effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop, read, analyze, & interpret specification documents.
• Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints and communicate with vendors and customers in a professional manner.
