Role Overview
The Marketing Support Specialist will provide day-to-day support to the marketing team across a wide range of projects, communications, events, digital updates, vendor coordination, and internal requests. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and comfortable jumping into different types of work as priorities shift.
This position will help keep marketing projects moving by assisting with administrative tasks, coordinating materials, tracking requests, supporting content updates, and helping ensure brand standards are followed across the company. The right person will be dependable, proactive, and able to handle multiple moving pieces while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Responsibilities
- Assist with general marketing administrative tasks, including organizing files, tracking project status, maintaining marketing calendars, and helping manage incoming requests.
- Support the creation, review, and distribution of marketing materials such as flyers, email communications, event materials, signage, presentations, social media content, and internal documents.
- Help coordinate marketing requests from branches, sales teams, leadership, and other departments to ensure needs are captured, organized, and routed appropriately.
- Assist with company events, customer events, trade shows, sponsorships, open houses, and employee engagement initiatives by helping coordinate materials, invitations, forms, promotional items, signage, and follow-up items.
- Support digital marketing efforts, including website updates, social media scheduling, email communications, online listings, and basic content organization.
- Help maintain brand consistency across materials by reviewing logos, colors, templates, messaging, and formatting before items are shared internally or externally.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotes, proofs, order updates, print materials, promotional items, signage, apparel, and other marketing-related needs.
- Assist with maintaining marketing inventory, including promotional products, printed materials, event supplies, apparel, and branch marketing resources.
- Help gather information, photos, updates, and project details from employees, branches, and departments for use in newsletters, social media, website content, and internal communications.
- Proofread and format written materials to ensure they are clear, professional, accurate, and aligned with company standards.
- Support reporting and tracking for marketing projects, requests, campaigns, budgets, sponsorships, and event participation.
- Assist with internal communication efforts, including company announcements, employee updates, process reminders, and other team-facing messages.
- Perform additional duties as required and assigned
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ years of experience in marketing, administrative support, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, polished work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and digital marketing platforms is a plus
- Experience with events, social media, email marketing, or website updates preferred
- Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership
- Requires prolonged sitting and frequent computer use, with occasional standing, walking, light lifting, and the ability to communicate effectively and perform basic office-related physical tasks.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
