  • Summer hours change slightly to enjoy sunshine activities 7:00 am-3:30 pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

• New Grads will be considered, butwe would prefer 2+ yrs experienced dentists
• Great chairside manner and quality dentistry performance
• Desire/willingness to live in a small town to practice
• Valid Dental License in PA
• DDS/DMD Degree from an Accredited University

PRACTICE DETAILS:

• 7 operatories in a 1,200 sq. ft. building with a full basement for utilities & lunch area.
• Practice has been in the same location for 42 years.
• Presently has digital X-rays and is transitioning to full electronic and primarily paperless
• Intraoral cameras, pan/ceph, conebeam, trios scanner, soft tissue lasers, and computers in each operatory
• Pay mix: 65% commercial insurance, 35% cash
• DDS will be able to do all procedures they are capable of doing to the acceptable standard of care guidelines.

PROCEDURES:

• Bread & Butter general dentistry
• Some implant placement with surgical guides ○ Endo but refer most molars
• Straight wire orthodontics & ClearCorrect clear aligners
• Bleaching
• Anything beyond deep scaling gets referred out (perio)
• No impaction, but will do surgical & bone grafts, especially if they will be placing the implant
• Will gladly entertain sedation if the incoming DDS wants to do it.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

• Earning potential will depend on incoming DDS skill set & desire for higher volume
• Salary guarantees of at least $200,000 for an experienced dentist at 35-40 hours per week
  • 3-6 month ramp-up period, then 36% of net collections
• Paid malpractice for the 1st year
• Paid major medical for the 1st year
• Realistic earning potential $250,000 or more*

Located in Western Central Pennsylvania, northeast of Pittsburgh and southeast of Erie. This charming City of 20,000 people is surrounded by forests, streams, and wildlife. It is a nature-lover's and hunter’s paradise. For the wildlife lovers, the elk herds in Elk County are just 18 miles to the north. This quaint City is a powerhouse for baseball and softball. DuBois hosts multiple tournaments at the prestigious Showers, Heindl, and Stern fields, such as the Small College World Series, the Eastern Regional Little League Tournament, the PIAA State games, and PB,R to name a few. DuBois’s ballfields are rated the best in the tri-state area. We also have culture in the Reitz Theater, a local theater group which puts on plays throughout the year; the Winkler Gallery, a place for budding artists to perfect their craft; and Musicfest, held Thursday evenings in the summer on the stage in the DuBois Memorial Park. The public schools are very good, and a Catholic school, a Baptist Academy, and a Vo tech school are in addition. The area includes Treasure Lake as a semi-private development with over 2000 homes, 2 golf courses (3 more nearby), and 2 lakes to enjoy summer activities. Penn State University has a local campus here. We also boast a state-of-the-art medical facility at Penn Highlands Healthcare is a level 2 Trauma center, and the DuBois Regional Airport is a mere eight miles from the city center. DuBois is also surrounded by major highways: US 219, Interstate 80, and Route 32,2, making us an excellent hub for commerce. The local area also offers shuttles to larger cities throughout Eastern PA.
