Physical Therapist Job Details

• Location: Lancaster, PA 17601 (Lancaster County healthcare jobs)
• Facility Type: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF)
• Shift: Day shift (12-hour shifts)
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910–$1960
• Assignment Length: 13-week contract (August 4, 2025 – November 3, 2025)
• Patient Caseload: Approximately 6 patients per physical therapist
• Electronic Health Record: EPIC/UDS
• Weekend Coverage: As needed
• On-Call: No call requirements

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or acute care experience
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Strong teamwork and communication skills within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Proficient in EPIC/UDS EHR systems
• Excellent organizational and patient care skills
• Ability to comply with facility dress code (scrubs required)

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments and deliver evidence-based treatments for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological disorders, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans to optimize patient health, mobility, and quality of life
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to achieve the best patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient progress and outcomes in EPIC/UDS EHR
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, discharge planning, and home exercise programs
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all patients
