Staff Development RN
We are currently accepting applications for a Staff Development Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our long-term care and rehabilitation facility specializing in geriatric care. This position plays a vital role in supporting our nursing team through education, training, and mentorship while ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and passionate about educating and supporting clinical staff. A positive attitude and a genuine commitment to working with residents and their families are essential.

Qualifications
• Current Alabama RN license
• Experience in long-term care nursing preferred
• Staff development experience is a plus, but training is available for qualified RNs with long-term care experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Compassionate attitude toward caring for the elderly
Essential Job Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and direct in-service education programs and new hire orientation in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Promote and maintain the highest level of quality resident care
• Provide nursing staff with clinical education, support, and guidance
• Develop and implement orientation and mentoring programs for nursing staff
• Assist with scheduling for nurses and CNAs
• Work Monday through Friday with rotating call and one weekend per month
