National Account Manager

Job Skills / Requirements
DSI Security is currently seeking a National Account Manager to work out of the West Chester, PA area. Successful candidates will work day shift Monday through Friday, but may be required to work evenings, overnights and weekends based on operational needs and sometimes without notice. You will have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k (w/ company match). The company will provide paid vacations, free uniforms, and paid training.
Site Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day security operations at all assigned client locations.
- Collaborate with both Site Supervisors and DSI Site Supervisors to ensure smooth coordination and execution of security protocols.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and that personnel are properly trained and equipped.
- Provide coverage for open posts when necessary to maintain uninterrupted site security.
- Review officers’ daily activity reports for completion and contents.
- Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account(s), maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists.
- Analyze market needs to ensure client remains competitive with comps
- Collaborate with client to ensure quick invoicing and bill payment
- Conduct site visits/inspections as needed
- Review monthly training with site supervisors
- Have a clear understanding of client and site SOPS
- Travel to sites to support large initiatives
- Coordinate/Schedule security for remote and special events
- Assign Workday and Genetec access
- Communicate with client security manager to ensure all needs are being met
Personnel Management:
- Conduct interviews, orientations, and initial training for new security personnel.
- Oversee ongoing training programs to maintain high standards of performance and compliance.
- Conduct training on the basic rules and regulations that apply to all posts, ensuring DSI’s Code of Ethics and Employee Standards are followed.
- Review and understand use of mandatory timekeeping system, to facilitate support and training to security personnel.
- Manage scheduling to optimize coverage, minimize overtime, and ensure adherence to labor regulations.
- Implement retention strategies and foster a positive work environment to address turnover.
- Enforce proper maintenance and display of DSI’s Uniform Standards.
- Communicate with Security site supervisors.
- Performance evaluations, hiring and terminations.
- Review required trainings per client
Qualified applicants for the Security Account Manager position will meet the minimum requirements listed below:
- The ideal candidate MUST have Account management experience
- Ideal candidate will possess an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Prior experience as a manager within the contract security industry is highly desired
- Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required
- Must possess strong computer skills and proficiency in all
- Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly effective, energetic leader with the ability to build strong relationships, take initiative, prioritize and manage deadlines
- Dedicated to providing top-notch customer service
- Current state driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass criminal and drug screenings, and provide references
