Greater Pittsburgh Specialty Advertising (GPSA) is a family-owned apparel decorator and team outfitter with embroidery and screen-printing operations located in Millvale. For 30 years, we've been delivering high-quality products with outstanding customer service to successful school, companies and organizations across Western Pennsylvania.

We're looking for self-motivated, quality-conscious Embroidery Machine Operator with Embroidery and/or commercial sewing experience for this full-time, weekday, daylight (8:30-5:00) position.

We anticipate offering a starting wage of $16 to $19 per hour, very flexible based on experience.

Responsibilities may include:

Efficiently operating Tajima 8 head embroidery machinery on a daily basis.
Embroidering apparel and miscellaneous other items to fulfill customer orders.
Operating sewing machines to apply patches and other decorations to apparel as needed.
Ensuring items are embroidered with correct logos and colors as noted on work orders.
Trimming, folding, bagging and boxing embroidered apparel as needed.
Performing quality control on the apparel; organizing, packing and preparing boxes for shipment.
Maintaining a neat, orderly and safe work area.

Qualifications:

Basic reading and math skills.
Good verbal, written and team communication skills.
Embroidery and/or sewing experience.
