Our client is seeking ONLY compassionate, motivated, and reliable Shelter Support Staff to support efforts in a homeless shelter for displaced individuals in the Pittsburgh areas to provide daily support to shelter guests. CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS & COMPENSATION* $19/hr.+ compensation depending on Contractor's qualifications, availability, and skills.
* 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts (AWAKE) available during the week and weekend.
* You pick what shifts you want but RELIABILITY is a MUST!
* Full schedules may be available, if reliable. SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide support and safety to residents of shelter including guest engagement, de-escalation and daily support. (not behind a desk monitoring.) CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION FOR SHELTER MONITORS
* Direct care experience with high functioning MH/IDD patients and/or substance abuse population needed.
* Ability to complete and satisfactorily pass a drug screening.
* Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
* Recent Physical/TB screening
* Recent PA State Criminal Background, FBI (Dept. H.S.), and Child Abuse Clearance
(If you don't have all credentials we can give you info on getting them) MUST BE RELIABLE & DEPENDABLE WITH BOTH THE CARE YOU PROVIDE AS WELL AS ATTENDANCE. DTG ADVANTAGES
