Professional Land Surveyor – Philadelphia Suburbs
A highly respected civil engineering & land development firm in the Philadelphia suburbs is seeking a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PA PLS) to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys a blend of field leadership, project coordination, and technical problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Lead boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction layout survey projects
- Oversee survey crews and ensure accuracy, safety, and quality control
- Prepare plats, legal descriptions, and survey documents
- Collaborate with civil engineers, planners, and clients on land development projects
- Utilize the latest GPS, robotic, and CAD technology to support design workflows
Qualifications:
- Pennsylvania PLS license (required)
- 5+ years of progressive surveying experience
- Strong knowledge of land records, boundary law, and mapping standards
