Accountability: Distribution Manager

Status: Full Time; Non-Exempt

Purpose: To be a mentor, by example, to Aftercare Program participants. Follow Christ’s example of being a servant leader. Manage all aspects of product flow, including receipt and delivery of donations. Coordinate internal product flow managers.

Duties:

• Management of Dock, Delivery/pick up, and Bale areas.
• Treat donors and customers with respect and thankfulness.
• Complete truck runs when needed.
• Assist with the training and instruction of new and existing Dock, Delivery, Bale personnel and Volunteers.
• Direct the flow of donated furniture items from dock to storage or store.
• Oversee the flow of sold items from retail to delivery or pick up.
• Supervise the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the dock, trucks, and connected areas.
• Arrange for delivery and pick up of all items to the warehouse in Annville.
• Assist in the hiring and evaluation of students in dock area.
• Assist with special delivery and pick-ups as needed.
• Assist with snow removal as needed.
• Attend required processing meetings and be part of staff meetings and team building.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Valid driver’s license and current DOT medical card

• Experience driving a truck
• Ability to lift heavy items
• Courteous
• Customer Service Experience
