We are building a high-performance delivery layer for our platform.
In this role you are building the high-performance delivery engine that bridges our Snowflake Warehouse with a headless Next.js frontend . You will own the logic that transforms raw behavioral signals into actionable data, ensuring our delivery layer is as fast as it is intelligent.
You will partner directly with and report into the Principal Platform Engineer to craft a hardened, SOC 2-ready ecosystem . If you’re bored by standard CRUD apps and want to build a secure, scalable, and autonomous data orchestration platform, this is the seat as this role operates with a high degree of autonomy and ownership, emphasizing system-level thinking, sound technical judgment, and long-term maintainability.
What You'll Do
- Implementation & Delivery: Own end-to-end full‑stack delivery of features and subsystems, ensuring solutions balance performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Architectural Contribution: Contribute to the evolution of our Next.js and React-based architecture, helping translate architectural intent into production systems.
- Identity & Authentication: Execute the migration and hardening of our authentication flows from legacy providers to Microsoft Entra ID, ensuring seamless SSO, SEO-friendly crawler bypass, and forward-looking support for LLM crawler handling.
- Technical Specifications (RFCs): Draft and defend technical specifications before cutting code, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
- Engineering Values: Build with a mindset of "elegant but not overengineered," reducing operational burden and avoiding unnecessary complexity.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, Data, and Delivery.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is an experienced, self-directed engineer who thrives with ownership and ambiguity.- Experience: 6+ years building and operating full-stack applications.
- Platform Proficiency: Strong in Next.js, React, TypeScript, REST APIs, and a deep understanding of the Headless philosophy and why we decouple systems for operational efficiency.
- CMS Integration: Experience with headless CMS platforms, ideally Optimizely.
- Technical Acumen: True full-stack capability across frontend, backend, and system boundaries.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience with Azure (IaaS/PaaS), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Observability: Familiarity with platforms like Datadog or Application Insights.
- L LM & AI: Curiosity and practical experience leveraging LLMs for augmentation, validation , or async processing via microservices.
- Teamwork: Strong communicators who collaborate well in distributed teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to translate loosely defined requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions.
