Facilities Maintenance Technician - 1:30 PM to 10 PM

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team on second shift. In this hands-on role, you will support daily industrial maintenance operations, ensuring equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure operate safely and reliably in a specialty metal refining and recycling environment.

Job Purpose
To perform industrial mechanical maintenance activities to install, maintain, and repair equipment and facility systems throughout the site, supporting safe operations and uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform mechanical maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery, including belts, bearings, hydraulics, and related components
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and machinery as needed
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
• Support facility maintenance activities as assigned, including snow removal and general upkeep
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures, environmental standards, and company policies

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Trade school certification or equivalent hands on experience preferred
• Minimum one year of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
• Heavy machinery repair experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
• Reliable transportation required, as there is no public transportation access to the facility

Compliance Requirements
• This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations and National Association for Information Destruction standards
• Candidates must be a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident, or otherwise meet ITAR eligibility requirements
• Ability to pass a seven year background check free of theft or fraud related offenses
• Must pass pre employment drug screening
• Must be medically fit to work in an industrial environment

Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, crouching, and repetitive motions
• Required use of PPE in designated areas

Schedule
Shift: Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Location: Onsite, Fairless Hills, PA
