Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials across the facility. This role involves operating various power industrial trucks, handling and delivering materials to designated business units, and maintaining adherence to all standard operating procedures. The Warehouse Associate will also utilize RF scanning equipment and participate in crosstraining to support multiple warehouse functions, including incoming materials, kanban replenishments, and trailer loading/unloading.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

• Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
• Responsible for moving, stocking, receiving and packing outbound warehouse merchandise.
• Assists in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts.
• Operates warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks.
• Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
• Refers most complex issues to higher level staff/supervisor.
• At higher job levels; possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
• Provides leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

• Required to apply entry level working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts, and proposes a course of action. Performs entry level shop floor competencies.
• Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Work is typically checked and monitored on a routine basis.
• May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.
• Contacts are primarily with direct supervisor, peers and subordinates.

Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc

Required:

• High school diploma/G.E.D required.
• 0-0.5 years related experience OR PBS requirements completed and pass assessment at appropriate level.
• Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
• Regular and predictable on-site attendance
• Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed

Hourly Rate: $ 22.52 plus shift differential
